Kevin Curtis

Enrolled in chemical physics PhD. Performs research in materials suitable for the collection and sorting of actinide elements. Current work involves collection of uranyl from seawater using proteins and automizing parameterization of exchange-correlation energy by using Monte Carlo methods.

Publications:

K. Curtis, D. Panthi and S. O. Odoh. A time-dependent DFT study of copper (II) oxo active sites for methane-to-methanol conversion in zeolites. Inorg. Chem. 2021, 60, 1149.

Education:

B.S. in Chemistry

Olabisi Suleiman

I joined the Odoh research group in 2018 to pursue my PhD in Chemistry after years of leaving school. It is quite fun and challenging working with amazing people within the group. As a computational chemistry student, my major interest is using quantum mechanical methods to study the conversion of methane to methanol as well as for modelling the electronic structure properties of large systems.
